25th Anniversary ? Yep, We?re Giving Away Consulting: One Free Practice Checkup Monthly!

By Ross

ADVERTISEMENTS

To celebrate MicroLaw’s 25th anniversary, we’ve decided to do something we don’t believe any legal technology consultancy has ever done . . .

Yep, every month for the next 12 months, we’re going to hold a drawing and give away one complete Law Practice Technology/Practice Management Checkup, value up to $2500!

This review addresses all aspects of law firm operation related to technology use – a review of:

  • State of your practice’s hardware and network systems, security, data backup, remote access, connections to portable devices such as smart phones.
  • Your key software systems including billing/financial systems, practice management including client information tracking, docketing, document assembly capabilities, document and email management, practice area automation, conflicts checking.
  • Your paper management and scanning efforts.
  • Your status related to malpractice risk reduction and ethical compliance – are you committing malpractice by computer?
  • How effectively you and your people are using your technology systems and can you make better use of them by intelligent training and better proceduralization?
  • What are the logical next steps to take in maximizing your technology effectiveness – what is the action plan consistent with our “Five B’s” approach?

What you end up with is what we’ve become best known for among our clients over so many years – a blunt, no-holds barred critical review of your practice’s technology usage and a very specific plan for moving forward – a combination of very specific advice about how to best use what you already have, how to fill in your operational gaps and how to improve your client services and profitability with new/changed/better technology approaches. In other words, a complete plan on what to do now, what to do next and how to drive your practice forward in the future.

Depending on the size of your practice in terms of number of people, these reviews can typically range anywhere from $2500 to $25,000 – for solos to about 150 lawyers – the range of firms and legal departments we typically have assisted over theyears.

What you get – so each month, we’ll log all the firms that contact us by clicking right here. Just let us know you’re interested in winning the monthly drawing for $2500 towards your Law Practice Technology/Practice Management Checkup. Include your firm’s full contact description and ideally, add this phrase in your subject line: “Practice Checkup,”

We’ll announce and contact the winner every month (or if you prefer, we’ll keep your identity anonymous). If your practice is a little bigger, we’ll quote a fee and give you a $2500 credit against the checkup. If you’re small and $2500 covers it, it’s free.

That’s it – simple. Money stays  in your pocket and the most experienced legal technologists anywhere will give you a game plan for making more money, better serving your clients, cutting malpractice risk, being ethically compliant and having better quality of life.

So go ahead, what have you got to lose? Throw in your lot and get a checkup – who knows, you might win, but you certainly won’t if you don’t play the game! Good luck folks – the first $2500 Checkup will be drawn on November 15th at 5PM CT!
