Suit Filed Over Chicago Bus Crash

A Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) bus crash has resulted in a lawsuit from one of the passengers who claims the driver was speeding and that the “vehicle’s steering mechanism failed to operate properly.” The accident occurred over the weekend when a CTA bus jumped a curb and slammed into a tree, injuring 30 people. The bus driver has said she tried to steer the bus back onto the road, but it “kept veering to the right.” The suit is seeking unspecified damages.
