: Ross-Blakley Law Library BlogConstitution Day Celebration, September 17th
By Leslie A. Pardo
Constitution Day is Friday, September 17th. ASU will celebrate it by presenting a showing of Our Constitution: A Conversation.
This discussion was taped in 2005 between former Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O?Connor and current Justice Stephen G. Breyer. The justices answer questions about the United States Constitution from Philadelphia-area high school students.
Dr. T.J. Davis, PhD, JD., professor of history at ASU, will lead a discussion after the film about current issues surrounding the U.S. Constitution, including the controversy about the 14th Amendment.
The presentaiton wil take place at Hayden Library, in room C6 at 2:00 pm. Attendees of the video presentation and discussion by Dr. Davis will receive a free pocket constitution! ASU Constitution Day programs are sponsored and supported by the ASU Libraries, the Ross-Blakley Law Library, and the Undergraduate Student Government.
