Or so the president strongly hinted in his press conference.  He's talked about the job with her, described her as a friend, and said he wasn't "ready to make an announcement yet."  The CPSB will have an outspoken head, if she can get confirmed, which, he said, only worried him re: Warrren because every nominee gets resistance.

I still don't believe the administration unanimously wants Warren, but maybe the dissenters are depending on Dawn Johnsen style resistance from the GOP here.  Heck, maybe that would be a political win for the administration.  But maybe the current regime thinks a Spitzer style crusader is just the thing.
