Justice Pirates

By Steve Pirates

ADVERTISEMENTS

In Legal Skills II, we had in-class appellate arguments based on the fact pattern that we are all briefing. The full blown competition starts on Monday. Because I am competing on Monday I did not argue in class yesterday. Instead I, along with a few of my colleagues, sat in judgment. It was really fun. We got to wear robes. We were told by our professor to be an active bench, and for the most part we were. I think I talked the most, and asked the most pointed questions. One of my classmates compared me to Scalia after class. I’m still not sure whether that was a compliment or not.

And now without further ado, the first ever picture of Justice Pirates. Guess which one is me.
