: court-o-rama.orgIf Minnesota Courts Were On Idol
By Anne Skove, Esq.
These past two weeks have been Fab Four time for American Idol wannabes. If the Minnesota courts were in the race, what would their song choice be? (And we'll let them be Dylan fans; he was, after all, born in Duluth):
- Changing of the Guards: Chief Justice Russell Anderson is retiring. The incoming chief will be Eric Magnuson.
- The Times They Are a-Changin: Magnuson does not have a previous life as a judge. What will his management style be? How will he make the transition from private to public sector?
- Gotta Serve Somebody: As we mentioned earlier, state courts have reduced hours in order to meet an ever-shrinking budget
At this point in the game, it all comes down to song choice!
