One of my esteemed competitors proudly proclaims that "There is no interest in selling the plaintiff any other type of financial product, before, during or after the case is settled". Consider on the one hand that in the book  In Search of Excellence.  one of the most widely read business books ever, Tom Peters and Robert H. Waterman, Jr. listed "sticking to your knitting" as one of eight common themes of successful corporations. Yet despite what the company and its associates actually appear to do, the company bills itself as solely a settlement annuity company.

In this day and age of multi product settlement solutions, is there an advantage to promoting yourself as a " one trick pony"? Whoa Nelly!
