Happy birthday, Maeve!

Today is a glorious one. My daughter arrived about an hour ago. She is about six weeks early, but doing great. I am overwhelmed by the wonders of modern medicine. Fifty years ago, she would never have survived the pregnancy, and it is likely my wife wouldn’t have made it either. Kudos to all of the doctors and nurses who helped us celebrate this wonderful day, and to all those on whose shoulders they stand. Happy birthday, my love!
