By Jason Siegel
A community forum will discuss the legal issues around a new law banning registered sex offenders from going within 300 feet of places frequented by children will be discussed at a community forum held by City Attorney Michael Aguirre, Fox 6 reported.
The Child Protection Act was unanimously passed by the San Diego City Council passed last month. It bans former sex offenders from being near schools, day-care centers, arcades, playgrounds, parks and amusement centers.
