By Jason Siegel
Goodwin Procter has added four new corporate partners to its Los Angeles offices. Eric R. Reimer, Elliott D. Hinds, Q. Scott Kaye and Marc A. Jones have joined the Boston-based firm from McDermott Will & Emery.
Reimer, who was chairman of McDermott's global leveraged finance practice group, headed its project finance practice and was a senior member of its restructuring group. He joined McDermott in 1999 and represents private equity firms and hedge funds, borrowers, issuers and lenders in various transactions. He will split his time between the firm's Los Angeles and New York offices.
Hinds, Kaye and Jones, who were members of McDermott¹s leveraged finance, mergers and acquisitions and private equity groups, will be located at Goodwin's office in Century City, Calif.
Hinds, who joined McDermott in 2000, focuses on project development and finance transactions in the energy, technology and health care industries.
Kaye joined McDermott in 2001 and represents lenders and borrowers in various financing transactions. And Jones, who joined McDermott in 1996, has experience in mergers and acquisitions, securities, startups, joint venture formation and other corporate matters.
Goodwin opened its Los Angeles office last year. Its Century City office opened in 2006.
