New complex commercial litigation partner at McGuireWoods in L.A.

McGuireWoods LLP announced that Brooks Gresham has joined the firm's Los Angeles office as a partner with the Complex Commercial Litigation group.

Prior to joining McGuireWoods, Gresham served as of counsel to Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan LLP. He has represented defense contractors, telecommunications companies, media companies, banks, insurers, real estate developers, contractors and property owners in all phases of arbitration and mediation, litigation and trial.

Gresham earned a Juris Doctor degree from Loyola Law School in 1991, where he was a member of the St. Thomas More Law Honor Society and a recipient of the American Jurisprudence Award. He is also a recipient of the California State Bar Wiley M. Manuel Award for Pro Bono Service, the Orange County Bar Association Access to Justice Award, and the Los Angeles County Superior Court Award for Outstanding Service as Judge Pro Tem. Gresham is a former floor delegate of the Conference of Delegates of the California Bar Associations and a volunteer arbitrator at the Los Angeles Superior Court Arbitrator Panel.
