Yesterday, we brought you the story of the Ohio man sentenced to probation for "Daddying While Intoxicated." Today, an "are you kidding me?" parenting story that is no laughing matter at all. According to CNN, Lee Willie Dejesus of Homestead, Fla. has admitted to police that he beat his 2-year-old son nearly to death, hitting him approximately 15 times in the face, head and chest. Dejesus claimed that he was just trying to teach his son to box. He waited an hour before calling 911, and at first claimed the child had been hit by a babysitter. The boy, Willy Brown, is on life support and not expected to recover from his injuries. Dejesus has been charged with second-degree murder and is being held without bond. Dejesus's sister, in an interview with a local TV station, indicated that her brother sometimes "gets mad" and "can't be stopped." Good luck with that attitude in prison, Lee.
