: Traumatic Brain Injury Law BlogNew Test for Brain Injury on Horizon
By Bruce Stern
Over the past few years the Brain Injury Association of America (BIAA) has worked closely with Tim Burton, a reporter for the Wall Street Journal, to advocate for continued awareness, education, research, funding and understanding of brain injury. Through this joint partnership the BIAA regularly pitches stories to Mr. Burton about key issues taken place within the field of brain injury and most recently pitched a story to him in May about biomarkers and brain injury.
BIAA is excited to report that in this morning's edition of the Wall Street Journal, Mr. Burton authored "New Test for Brain Injury on Horizon," an article featuring biomarkers as a potential key in pinpointing brain injuries using a simple blood test. BIAA applauds both Mr. Burton and the Wall Street Journal for featuring this article and acknowledges contributing to its content through sharing of resources and ongoing dialogue with Mr. Burton.
