The Public Interest Section and the Pennsylvania Bar Association will hold the plenary meeting "Civil Gideon: A Right to Counsel in Civil Cases" on Thursday, April 10 at 4 p.m.
The program will feature opening remarks by Chancellor A. Michael Pratt and Andrew F. Susko, president of the Pennsylvania Bar Association. Panelists include Pa. State Rep. Kathy M. Manderino; Debra Gardner, legal director, Public Justice Center of Baltimore; and Laura Abel, deputy director of the Justice Program, Brennan Center for Justice, New York University School of Law.
A wine and cheese reception follows this free program, which will be held in the 11th Floor Conference Center of Bar Association headquarters, 1101 Market St. Space is limited.
