More exploitation of the "other America:" Bank of America's former vice president of its Chesterfield branch is convicted of federal credit card fraud. ST Louis Business Journal. Former Bank of America Vice President Robert Conner was convicted of 36 federal charges involving a $1.2 million bank and credit card fraud scheme, U.S. Attorney Catherine Hanaway announced Friday. Between June 2005 and November 2006, Conner orchestrated a scheme to allow 16 co-defendants to submit false applications for small business credit cards carrying lines of credit. Participants made about $1.21 million in fraudulent charges on cards Conner approved.Eleven other people, including a former Pine Lawn Police Officer and a Wentzville doctor, have previously pleaded guilty to related charges. Co-defendants Missouri State Representative John Bowman and Joanna Davis are awaiting trial.
