Saturday?s Protesting and Rallying in Tempe, AZ

Yes, The Right Side of Life.com stands with Arizona and is wholeheartedly against illegal immigration. In fact, by definition, neither me nor anyone connected with my family would even be here in America today if it weren’t for legal immigration.

This posting represents a multimedia link fest of both the protest and rally that went on last Saturday. I’m going to begin with the bad and ugly before getting to the good and inspiring stuff. Warning: the pictures from the protest truly show the left on parade. They are rather disturbing and go to show that it is not pro-Americans who are obsessed with such symbols as swastikas…

(Pics and most video via the AmericanPowerBlog.Blogspot.com — a site to which most are referring in terms of the incredible photography taken. What’s below is merely a sampling of what you’ll see in reference)

NewsBusters via first of a few AmericanPower links:

Here's the scene as the crowd gathered at 8:00am at Indian School Park in Phoenix. This image better captures the tone of the day's events. Behold Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio as KKK terrorist

Throughout the day chants and exhortations decried European colonialism, for example, "WE DIDN'T CROSS THE BORDER ... THE BORDER CROSSED US!!"

Well, alrighty then! Now for the palate-cleanser; the patriotic side from the rally at Diablo Stadium:

Once again, via AmericanPower:

The StandWithArizona.org folks put this video together for the rally:

This video was reasonably-balanced news coverage:

…and from BulletPeople, a video from a volunteer covering the crowd at the rally:

The kids were allowed to play around in the outfield

Pretty good comparison of the motives behind both the protest and rally.

I think AllAmericanBlogger sums up the situation best:

There were 50,000 people at the rally in Arizona. How many of those folks got bussed in is unknown. 50,000 people is a good sized crowd.

Now consider this number: 214,904,585

That?s roughly the number of Americans that support the Arizona law.

Your president, however, isn?t one of them. He would would have been out marching with these anarchists.

Yay, Arizona. May the seventeen other States continue to follow suit.
