Lawsuit Filed Against Toyota for Truck Crash

A Colorado family has filed a lawsuit against Toyota Motors after a 21-year-old boy crashed his mother’s 2006 Toyota Tacoma in February. Michael Noble said he was driving along without incident when the truck suddenly accelerated, fishtailing and vaulting over an embankment. His family spent $4,000 fighting charges of careless driving resulting in injuries to himself and a passenger. The charge could have cost him a $1,000 fine and a year in jail. The Nobles are seeking compensation for their legal fees and for the loss of the truck.
