: West Virginia Personal Injury LawyerH-E-B French Onion Dip Recalled
By Chrissie Cole
H-E-B has initiated a precautionary recall of French Onion Dip due to possible salmonella contamination.
To this date, no illnesses have been reported in connection with the recall.
The affected products have code dates of 4/15/2010 and 4/20/2010, 4/23/2010 and 4/24/2010 – available in 8 ounce, 16 ounce and 24 ounce sizes.
Symptoms of salmonella infection include fever, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, and abdominal pain, and generally appear within 12 hours to 72 hours of eating tainted food. Infants, the elderly, and those with weakened immune systems are more likely than others to develop severe illness.
French Onion is the only flavor affected by the recall. Consumers who have purchased any of the recalled products can return it to the store of purchase for a refund.
Customers can contact H-E-B Customer Service at 210-938-8357 with questions.
