'Cisca' Mok joins Reed Smith

Reed Smith announced today that Francisca M. "Cisca" Mok has joined the firm in their Century City office. She will work in their Global Regulatory Enforcement Group.

Ms. Mok was formerly a partner in the Los Angeles office of McDermott, Will & Emery, where she began her career in 1999.

She has experience representing clients before the SEC, and in shareholder class action and derivative lawsuits. She also has represented an array of clients, including hospitals and retailers, in consumer class actions and commercial disputes. Ms. Mok worked closely for many years at McDermott with Global Regulatory Enforcement partner James L. Sanders, who joined Reed Smith in 2009.

Ms. Mok graduated from UCLA School of Law in 1999 and earned a B.A in Government from Harvard University in 1995. She served as an extern at the Oregon Supreme Court during law school.
