The Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) wants to encourage people across the state to prepare for all kinds of disasters. This month the organization will focus its efforts on issues related to children and preparedness as part of the agency's "12-Month Preparedness Campaign." Highlights include giving families steps to take in the event of an emergency, preparing schools and child care providers and giving children tips to keep them calm and safe. Read More
