Woman Sent to Hospital After Dog Attack

As Sabrina Campbell was trying to save her 1 year-old Labrador Retriever, Paulie, from a dog attack the Pit Bull and Chow/Lab Mix turned on her. “He bit me on my leg,” she said, pulling up her pant leg to reveal multiple, deep bite marks on her thigh. When police and an Animal Control Officer arrived on the scene, they shot and killed the two dogs. “They were gonna attack whatever they could get a hold of,” Officer Floyde Campbell told Action News 36, “At that time me and the officers did make the decision that if we had to destroy the animals, that we would.” Paulie ran away during the attack, injured, and hasn’t been seen since.
