Here we go again?Toyota Minivan Recalled Over Spare Tire Cable

Last week Toyota Motors issued a voluntary recall of 600,000 Sienna minivans for a defect in the spare tire carrier cable. The recall applies to the vehicles driven in cold climates with high road salt usage. “Continued prolonged exposure to road salts may cause excessive corrosion of the carrier cable in some of these vehicles,” Toyota said in a press release. The tire may become dislodged from the vehicle, becoming a dangerous road hazard for other cars
