A group of Florida polo players filed a $4 million lawsuit last week over the death of 21 of their horses. The lawsuit claims that Franck’s Pharmacy gave the horses a vitamin mixture with high levels of selenium, which directly lead to their deaths. The drug was supposed to be a substitute for the drug Biodyl, used to help the horses recover from the wear and tear of the polo season.
