: Out of the JungleFranklin Pierce to Merge
ADVERTISEMENTS
Inside Higher Education is reporting a proposed merger between the University of New Hampshire and Franklin Pierce Law Center, the only law school in the state. Franklin Pierce would be known as the University of New Hampshire School of Law, but would remain in Concord for the time being, at least. The American Bar Association and the New England Association of Schools and College have to sign off on the plan, but work is already underway to coordinate the two schools' curricula and administrations. There are a lot of benefits to the merger for both parties, and this move is certainly more cost effective than creating a new law school.Full post as published by Out of the Jungle on March 17, 2010 (boomark / email).
