Open meetings law must be improved (Hattiesburg American)

THERE ARE SOME THINGS that just don't make good sense when it comes to Mississippi's open government laws. Here's an example. An official violates the state Open Meetings Law. That is hard to do in the first place because the law is weak, but blatant disregard for the law is common in some venues.
