Victims families speak out against the death penalty

Murder victims' families and friends are speaking out in opposition to capital punishment in a variety of forums. The following are comments from the 4th World Congress Against the Death Penalty. Read more... It is wrong to assume that every murder victims' family and friends want to see the perpetrator executed. We need more research and advocacy for all victims, and we need more opportunities for the victims and their families to share their stories. Here is a story about what capital cases can do to the victim's family.
