Rutter Hobbs announces new partners and litigator in LA

Los Angeles-based Rutter Hobbs & Davidoff Incorporated have announced the appointment of partners Richard Hong and Paul J. Laurin, and litigation associate Risa J. Morris.

Hong joins the firm from Jeffer, Mangels, Butler & Marmaro LLP. He will assist Rutter Hobbs & Davidoff in the expansion of its corporate department. He obtained his juris doctorate from Pepperdine University School of Law and his bachelor?s degree in international relations from the University of Southern California.

Laurin served previously as principal of Laurin & Associates. He will support the firm in his practice areas of business litigation related to real estate, creditors? rights, insolvency and general business. Before earning his juris doctorate at the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, Laurin received his bachelor?s degree in English from the University of California, Berkeley.

Morris was formerly an associate with Folger, Levin & Kahn LLP. She received her juris doctorate from Stanford Law, with distinction, and her bachelor?s degree in history from the University of California, Berkeley. Morris is a member of the California State Bar?s Committee on Professional Responsibility and Conduct.
