: Open and ShutNSW guidance on GIPA Act
ADVERTISEMENTS
The NSW Office of Information Commissioner published more guidance material on Friday on the Government Information (Public Access) Act including two Knowledge Updates- transition arrangements on repeal of the FOI act, and application of the public interest test, the latter pretty basic in terms of the sort of thing agencies are looking for. And a revised Business Plan that includes a reference to regulations already drafted that are set to commence with the GIPAA but no indication of what the regulations address. There has been nothing further from the OIC on when the act will commence since "in the near future" started to appear this year.Full post as published by Open and Shut on February 21, 2010 (boomark / email).
