: Open and ShutFurther Senate Committee hearing on FOI Reform Monday
ADVERTISEMENTS
The Senate Finance and Public Administration Committee is back to the Freedom of Information Reform Bills on Monday with a hearing in Melbourne, and a broad range of witnesses speaking to their submissions including academics Johan Lidberg and Moira Patterson, yours truly, the Australian Law Reform Commission, Australian Press Council, Victorian Privacy Commissioner, Public Interest Advocacy Centre and Liberty Victoria. If-when- Parliament's website recovers from a hack attack (it's been off the air mostly for 2 days) I'll post a link here to any direct broadcast. All submissions suggest the reforms are good, but scope to do better.
