Gibson Dunn names new co-partners in L.A., O.C. and Century City

Gibson Dunn named new co-partners in charge of their Los Angeles, Century City and Orange County offices.

Los Angeles and Century City
Gibson Dunn named corporate partner Karen E. Bertero the new co-partner-in-charge of their Los Angeles and Century City offices. She replaces partner Majorie Lewis.

Bertero focuses on mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, corporate counseling, mergers and acquisitions, public offerings, private placements and venture capital investments.

Peter Ziegler, a corporate partner, is the other co-partner-in-charge of Gibson Dunn's Los Angeles and Century City offices.

Orange County

Jeffrey Reeves was named co-partner in charge of the firm's Orange County office, replacing Jeffrey Thomas.

Reeves focuses on business litigation cases, including consumer and securities fraud class action cases, unfair competition, theft of trade secrets, auditing malpractice, accounting malpractice, Indian gaming, entertainment litigation and intellectual property matters.

He is on the Federal Bar Association's national government relations committee and former president of the the association's Orange County chapter.

Reeves is also a member of United Way's Tocqueville Society, serves on the Board of the United Cerebral Palsy Association of Orange County, is President Emeritus of the Constitutional Rights Foundation of Orange County and secretary to the Board of the Orange County Youth Sports Foundation.
