Fee diversion: from a fortune cookie to Joff Wild

By Lawrence B. Ebert, Esq.

ADVERTISEMENTS
A comment from Joff Wild to an IPBiz post ended with the following text expressing surprise that AIPLA, IPO, and AUTM did not express outrage at the latest fee diversion from the USPTO by Congress:

I remain surprised that none of these organisations seem to have spoken out against what is effectively a budget cut at the USPTO.

I am sorry that you do not understand any of this. Joff

Joff focussed on the absence of commentary by the organizations AFTER the Congressional action but neglected to mention the strong stands taken by these organizations against fee diversion BEFORE the incident in December 2009.

From a fortune cookie on February 3, 2010:

The further backward you can look, the further forward you are likely to see."

Joff's comment appears following the post
Captain Renault lives on?
