Teaching PR in clinical settings?

ADVERTISEMENTS
Unless I'm mistaken, this article by Chad Flanders responds to the same editorial that Brad Wendel responded to.  (nod to Jeff Lipshaw)  Flanders suggests that PR is best learned in clinical settings, and urges law schools to explore the possibility of giving PR credit in clinics.  Now, I may be out of touch with clinical education, but from my adjunct experience at Berkeley and Stanford, I had assumed that giving PR credit in clinics was commonplace.  Do any readers know if that's so?  If not, is there a roadblock?  (While I support the notion, I would add that whoever teaches PR in a clinical setting should have a deep knowledge of the law of lawyering.)
