This is a Bit Intimidating

By Ed Brayton

The Michigan chapter of the Center for Inquiry, formerly the West Michigan Freethought Association, is bringing in some tremendous speakers over the next few weeks. On March 12, they're bringing in Sandra Susan Jacoby, about whose new book, The Age of American Unreason, I wrote the other day. On April 3, they're bringing in Christopher Hitchens to debate his brother Peter on God, War, Politics and Culture. And the speaker at the meeting in between those two on March 26? Me. Yikes.

On a more serious note, I'm hoping to be able to secure interviews with both Jacoby and Hitchens. I suspect the first will be easier to arrange than the second, but it would be a real coup to get an interview with Hitchens.
