Adelstein to Speak at Internet Video Policy Symposium

By Cynthia Brumfield

ADVERTISEMENTS

Blogging is light these days because I'm in the throes of putting the finishing touches on the Internet Video Policy Symposium, slated for March 19 in Washington, DC. The latest news: FCC Commissioner Jonathan Adelstein has agreed to kick off the conference at its opening reception with some keynote remarks.

IVPS_logo.jpgCheck out the latest agenda. This issue is getting hotter than ever, particularly in the wake of the FCC's oh-so-interesting-at-many-levels P2P fielding hearing in Cambridge last week. Rumor is that because of the Comcast seatholder controversy, the FCC will hold a do-over meeting at Stanford.

If you've managed to read this far, I also am extending a special offer to IP Democracy readers: a $200 discount if you want to attend and hear from the very interesting line-up of speakers (which one top technology executive told me in an email yesterday is "One of the best I?ve seen in a long time.") To claim your discount, register here and make sure to put the following code in the coupon box: IPDDiscount.
