Ralph Nader excoriates law schools and some UConn profs, including PR prof Paul Chill, defend the school's approach. (Btw, Nader argues that law schools need to explain to students that Delaware corporate law dominates because it protects corporate interests. I recall that in the early '80s my prof began his discussion of corporate law with, "Big companies incorporate in Delaware because it enables them to screw the minority shareholders." It's one of the very few lines from law school that has stuck with me. Isn't that point made obvious in every school? And, for that matter, I recall most of my law school classes as including a heavy dose of center-left reform issues.) . . . . Over at Simple Justice (a fun blawg), Scott Greenfield comments on prosecutorial ethics in the Italian prosecution of Amanda Knox. The license given to their prosecutors in the closing argument did jump out at me. . . . . Interesting blawg, The Believer's Guide to Legal Issues, from a committed Christian who keeps his religion front and center of his approach to lawyering and to legal ethics. . . . . Another news article on the Michigan dispute over judicial disqualification.
