Two top administrators join UC-Irvine Law

The UC-Irvine's law school picked up two administrators from UCLA and USC to help develop the new school, The National Law Journal reports.

The director of development at UCLA's law school, Charles Cannon, is leaving on Jan. 22 to take up the same position at UC-Irvine.

The senior associate dean for administration and finance at USC's Annenberg School of Communication, Rebecca Avila, said she'll also join UC-Irvine because "it's a rare opportunity to get to start a new law school." Avila will start this summer as the law school's assistant dean for administration and finance.
