My dogs and the law

I am writing this while sitting on my deck in the backyard. It's a beautiful day, so I am outside with the dogs. As I have been sitting here, drinking a beer smoking a cigar (not Cuban of course, because that would be illegal), my dogs have been, well, being my dogs. I have two dogs. My wife's dog is Ellie. A white/ yellow lab that is spastic and hyper and everything I don't like in a dog. My dog is Dubya, the black lab. (Yeah, I wonder where he got that name from.) He is, well, shall be we say less motivated than Ellie, but certainly methodical in his actions. As I sat here watching them, it dawned on me. They are almost exact representatives of the prosecutor and the defense attorney. Ellie is gun ho about, well, everything. She is all go and no quit...continue to full post
