Wedding Season

This is a picture of our fridge, where we have wedding date cards from three of our friend-couples, and a blank space representing Rich and Wendy, who are also getting married. Four incredibly long-term couples, four weddings between June and October.* I don't know what made everyone jump up and start ordering cake (or pie!), but I find it VERY funny given that we haven't been to any friend weddings at all up unti this point.

I'm hardly some old biddy hell-bent on getting everyone married off...but yes, I did write "finally" on Henry and Ariel's, which was the first one we got in the mail. For some perspective, all four couples started dating before Dan and I did, and we've got 19 months of dating, 2 3/4 years of marriage, and a freaking baby. So yes, it's about time, buddies!

* I have been told making an "and a Funeral" joke is not very funny. So please don't die this summer.
