Beijing is Wacktacular

Or should that be “craptastic”? Seriously, WTF is up with this place? I go to Europe for four days and everything just breaks down. From China Digital Times:

Following two stabbings in Beijing in two days during the run-up to celebrations for the 60th anniversary of the founding of the PRC, foreign big box stores have ordered employees to temporarily remove knives from the inventory.

Let’s just stop and give thanks that none of these wackos used sharpened chopsticks as weapons, or we’d all be eating with our hands by now. And that’s disgusting.

The whole thing makes me want to go out to Qianmen and knock some tourist in the head with a jar of stinky tofu. Anything to get that drek banned.
