Rise and shine, it’s technology time!

ADVERTISEMENTS

BoardBuzz was intrigued by this New York Times article, which has caused a lot of controversy discussing the role that technology has played in shifting morning routines.  What are your thoughts?  Do children plug in before they even board the bus?  Can parents learn from school policies on the proper use of technology?  As TLN has seen in leading districts around the country, schools are using technology to increase communication and learning between students and teachers, so is the reverse happening at home?  Is technology breaking down communication between family members?

Programming at NSBA’s T+L Conference this fall in Denver will have presenters from leading districts sharing how they’ve successfully used technology to increase learning and communication.  Additionally there will be sessions that discuss community outreach to educate parents on the proper use of technology for safety and learning!  Register now and check it out!
