TinyURL und OpenSearchFox

Wie viele andere Leute benutze ich gerne den “Linkverkürzer” TinyURL.

Wie viele andere Leute benutze ich gerne die Firefox-Erweiterung OpenSearchFox, mit der man “Suchmaschinen” (also eigentlich Eingabemasken jeglicher Art) in das Firefox-Suchfenster rechts oben einbinden kann.

Klingelts?

Mir ist gerade eingefallen, dass man das Eingabefeld von TinyURL ja auch einfach ebenfalls dort einbinden kann. Es funktioniert: Einfach die zu lange URL dort hineinkopieren und “Abschicken”.

Vielleicht interessant für Leute, die das Bookmarklet von TinyURL nicht benutzen können oder wollen (weil wegen JavaScript und so).

Wie einfach! Man muss nur mal drauf kommen …
