Law Student's Video Wins Him $10K

Law student Branigan Robertson of Chapman University School of Law headed back to school last week with $10,000 less tuition to worry about. Chapman won the grand prize scholarship for the video he produced about his inspiration for going to law school. His video was the winning entrant in the My Inspiration video contest sponsored by Access Group, a nonprofit student loan company. As we reported here in June, the contest invited law students to produce a video no longer than four minutes describing what led them to law school. A panel of judges selected 10 finalists from among the 113 entries that were submitted. Those 10 were then posted to YouTube where viewers got to vote for their favorite. Robertson's video starts from the premise that he had no idea what inspired him to go to law school. So he sets out on an exploration to find out. Was it for money? Prestige? Women? By the end of the video, Robertson figures out the answer. As you might expect, it does not involve money, prestige or women.
