By Levin & Perconti

ADVERTISEMENTS

Congress is currently considering a very important piece of nursing home legislation. The bill would increase transparency of nursing home ownership, operations, staffing and expenditures. It would also improve the consumer complaint process and increase civil monetary penalties. The nursing home legislation would expand public information about nursing home quality, including penalties and staffing levels. Currently the bill is pending support. Please contact your local congressman in order to show your support for the Nursing Home Transparency and Improvement Act. To read more about the nursing home legislation, please click the link.
