So, once again, I went to Tustumena lake. God I love it up there. The reds have made it to Nikolai Creek. I was walking around in chest high grass, with dead salmon and raspberry bushes everywhere. Let's just say the Desert Eagle I was carrying felt too small. Before long I am going to take the girls up there. I know the lake a lot better now and it can be dangerous. I wasn't sure of the boat. But it is time. I have had a good summer so far but one of the things I have realized is that I could spend a lifetime exploring just the Kenai Peninsula and never see it all. So I go back to the places that I have seen and try and see a little more of it.
