Intellectual Property Law
: Madisonian.netIPSC 2009
By Ann Bartow
It’s Day Two of IPSC, an annual work in progress conference for Intellectual Property Law scholars. It’s great to see so many friends in one place, and to learn about all of the interesting research going on. I sat in on Copyright sessions yesterday, but am starting off today in a Trademark track, which includes two Marks on Marks (Mark Lemley and Mark McKenna presenting Trademark Law papers). One of their papers can be reviewed here.
Trademark Law topics seem a lot more popular than they used to be. Copyright Law is still well represented, but doesn’t dominate the agenda like it used to, or at least that is my impression. The Patent Law panels look really interesting and diverse too. Happy I’ll get to see some Cyberlaw presentations next; I really miss teaching Cyberspace Law.
