Feminist law professor Ann Bartow asks whether Lucia Whalen (aka the ?lady who called 911?) should also get a beer.  That might make Al happy, but I vote that we forget the Bud Lite and non-alcoholic brews, and suggest a much more interesting list of summer mixed drinks for Ms. Whalen.  Two of my local favorites:  

                 The Late Blossom  (pictured at right)

                           Luksusowa vodka, Lillet Blanc, lychee juice and orange flower water, and

                 The Hot Date

                          Jujube preserves, Gentleman Jack, cayenne, and lemon

Suggest your own favorite cocktails, preferably with a recipe, link, or ingredient list, in the comments, so that we can force resident mixologist Mark Weidemaier to make it for us.
