Poway Case Begins Re-Ascent

The Harper v Poway case, involving whether a high school student can wear a t-shirt that says "homosexuality is shameful" in response to the Day of Silence, has begun the ascent back up the legal ladder. The school won the first round in district court and on appeal, but the Supreme Court voided the decision on technical grounds and sent it back down to start over again. Now the original district judge has reaffirmed his original decision and the case goes back to the appeals court, who will no doubt reaffirm their original decision as well, and then back to the Supreme Court.
