Mosley Execution Rescheduled for September

"Execution of police officer's killer delayed," is the title of Michael Graczyk's AP report, via the Dallas Morning News.A state judge has moved this week's scheduled execution of condemned murderer Kenneth Mosley to September, his attorney said Tuesday. Mosley, 50, was set to die by lethal injection Thursday for the fatal shooting of Garland police officer Michael Moore. The 32-year-old officer was fatally wounded during a bank robbery 12 years ago by a bullet that struck above the top edge of his protective vest. Mosley was shot in the wrist by another officer waiting outside the bank and was arrested in the parking lot. Defense attorney Bruce Anton said Mosley's execution is now scheduled for Sept. 24.
