I'm not the only one who likes to draw Moneyball analogies. Here's one on the topic of health care reform on The New Republic's health care blog. (The topic: devising metrics for evaluating reform proposals.) Also: more bad news for baseball players hoping to avoid formal, statistically-oriented assessment. Maybe soon we'll have a quantitative metric for "grit."
