ADVERTISEMENTS

Dan Markel is doing his part to facilitate the law school faculty search process by compiling a list of faculty appointments  committee chairs here.  As I argued , a lateral candidate should do his or her best to make direct contact with target law schools.   Even entry level candidates with particular regional or school preferences may be well served by using direct applications as a supplement to the AALS faculty recruiting process.  And if you're chairing your law school's appointments committee please go to Dan's post and identify yourself.
